Want to Be a Hall Director?

The Selection Process for hall directors for the 2008-09 school year has concluded.  The selection process for the 2009-10 school year will begin in January, 2009.

 

 

 

 

 

Minimum Qualifications:

Applicants for the hall directorships should have earned enough academic credits to be classified as a junior in college by Fall 2009.  Applicants must have at least a 2.50 cumulative grade point average.

 

Desirable Qualifications:

At least one year of desk assistant or resident assistant experience is desired. 

Benefits:

  • A furnished one-bedroom apartment with local phone service, voice mail, cable and all other utilities.  The apartment has a computer with Internet service. 

  • Scholarship (Fall and Spring)

    • Spieth Hall      = $2,000 per semester

    • Selden Hall     = $2,000 per semester

    • Reed/Hoover  = $1,500 per semester

    • Sisk Hall          = $1,350 per semester

    • Stickney Hall   = $1,150 per semester

 

Selection Process:

  • Applications will be accepted until the positions are filled; however, a review of applications will begin on January 31st.  It is anticipated that the selections will be made by February 8th. 
     

  • Newly selected hall directors must be able to arrive on campus by August 1, 2009.
